Palestine belongs to the Arabs in the same sense that England belongs to the English or France to the French. It is wrong and inhuman to impose the Jews on the Arabs. What is going on in Palestine today cannot be justified by any moral code of conduct. The mandates have no sanction but that of the last war. Surely it would be a crime against humanity to reduce the proud Arabs so that Palestine can be restored to the Jews partly or wholly as their national home.

US voters seeking a just solution to the plight of the Palestinian and Israeli people have the ability to lobby their congress and senate to support the peace initiative of a viable two-state solution between Israel and Palestine. Failure by either side in embracing a two-state solution should result in a reduction or cessation of military and/or economic aid to that entity. The Obama administration has the power to bring peace to the region. The world hopes it also has the will.
